Artmarket was first established as a New Zealand Gift & Souvenir store back in 2000 in the small gold mining town of Waihi, the gateway to the Coromandel. Since Glynis Taylor, a passionate Art & Crafter purchased the business in 2017, she has gone on to champion many local Artists, Potters and Crafters from Waihi and the surrounding districts and has sold their work on their behalf.
In order to survive after the whole world changed with the impact of Covid-19, Glynis made the hard decision to close the Retail side of Artmarket and move the business online.
